Every year the Christians of the Diocese of Kumbo join their Bishop for an Annual Lenten Pilgrimage at the Boyong Hill in Ndu Subdivision of the Donga-Mantung Division of the North West Region of Cameroon. This year’s pilgrimage was referred to by the Bishop as the Pilgrimage of Hope. On Friday the 27th of March 2025, Christians from all over the Diocesan Territory rallied at the Ndu Grand Stand, received the blessing and prayed the Stations of the Cross up to the Boyong Hill. At the Hill, they passed through the Door of Hope, celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation and participated in the Holy Mass that was animated by Djottin Deanery.
